Trustworthiness check

After the preliminary check, the investor's documents required for verification are sent to the Vanuatu Financial Investigation Unit (FIU Check). Before verification, it is also necessary to transfer $5,100 to the Escrow Agent trust account.

Submitting an application

After successfully passing the Financial Intelligence Unit check, the applicant enters into an investment contract, pays the fee and submits the full package of documents to the Vanuatu Citizenship Commission.

Application review

After submitting the application, the investor waits for a meeting of the Commission, which is held at least once a month. If all requirements are met, the application is approved.

After receiving permission, the investor pays the remaining payments.

Obtaining citizenship and passport

After completing all procedures and payments, the applicant must appear in person at the Commission in Port Vila or the nearest Vanuatu consulate to submit biometric data. The investor undergoes an oath ceremony, receives a citizenship certificate and a Vanuatu passport.
