Dominica is an island country in the Caribbean Sea
Dominica, officially the Commonwealth of Dominica, is a small island in the Caribbean Sea between Martinique and Guadeloupe. The official language is English, but Creole, a French-influenced language, is widely spoken. The island’s capital, Roseau, is known for its historic architecture and bustling markets. The island is known as the “Nature Island” due to its dense rainforests, volcanic mountains, 365 rivers, and unique natural features such as the Boiling Lake.
Dominica is famous for its rich biodiversity, including the rare Sisserou parrot, and offers year-round whale watching. Morne Trois Pitons National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The island’s culture combines the indigenous Kalinago people with African and European influences, reflected in festivals such as the World Festival of Creole Music. The country’s economy is based on agriculture, tourism, and manufacturing.
Dominica has been attracting investors through its Citizenship by Investment Program since 1993. Dominica is an ideal destination for those who value nature, tranquility and a unique culture.

The Economic Diversification Fund (EDF) is a fund that supports public and private projects in Dominica, covering sectors such as education, health, sports and tourism. The minimum investment for an individual applicant is $200,000. If applying with family members, the amount may change.
Real Estate Investments
The minimum value of real estate for participation in the program must be at least $200,000. At the same time, there is a requirement that the property must be approved by the government of Dominica and owned by the investor for at least 3 years.
Five Steps to Obtaining Dominica Citizenship by Investment
The applicant must select an authorised international marketing agent from the CBIU list to guide you through all stages of the application process. CBIU does not accept applications directly, so selecting an authorised agent is mandatory to guide you through the application process.
The applicant prepares the necessary documents, including filling out official forms, undergoing a medical examination and collecting supporting documents. All documents must be in English and duly legalized. If the applicant plans to invest in real estate, a purchase and sale agreement must be concluded.
Once all the necessary documents have been prepared, the investor submits an application to the CBIU through his agent, who will handle all communications and respond to CBIU inquiries.
The CBIU carries out a thorough due diligence check to verify the information provided by the investor. The check includes interviews with all applicants over 16 years of age. Based on the check and the interview results, the CBIU makes a decision.
Once the application is approved, the investor fulfills the investment obligation. The applicant and his family then receive a certificate of naturalization, which will serve as the basis for obtaining a Dominica passport.
