US Residence Permit: Trump Announces New «Trump Card» Program

The administration of Donald Trump has unveiled an executive order to create a new immigration program — the ‘Trump Card’. The official text of the document has already been published on the White House website.

This initiative offers several pathways to obtaining a residence permit:

Trump Gold Card: Residency for an investment of $1 million through an accelerated procedure.
Trump Platinum Card: A premium option for $5 million (currently under development).
Trump Card for Business: An investment of $2 million plus an annual fee of $15,000 grants the ability to hire foreign staff.

This new scheme is designed to replace the popular EB-1 and EB-2 specialist visas. In the initial phase, the authorities plan to issue up to 80,000 cards.
